Route Description
You can get to Venwoude by train and bus (not on Sunday),
by train and taxi or by car.
Public transport
Take a train to Hilversum or den Dolder railway station.
Then take bus 59 to and from 'Venwoude' bus stop.

Taxi: Regiotaxi
Venwoude is accessible by 'regiotaxi' from railway station
Bilthoven and Baarn.
Bilthoven:
Order the taxi at least one hour in advance at tel. 08800-25400
or www.regiotaxiutrecht.nl.
Costs are about 6 euro's. You'll pay the driver cash. If you want
to drive back by taxi too, you'll have to order it immediately
with your first trip.
Baarn:
Order the taxi at least one hour in advance at tel. 0900-1122445

car from Utrecht
Follow the A27 to Hilversum/Almere. Take exit Bilthoven/Maartensdijk,
follow to Bilthoven until crossing, then to Lage Vuursche.
Follow signs to Lage Vuursche: at the T junction turn
right, at the next T junction (with small house at
your right) turn left, still following signs to Lage
Vuursche. After 300 meters you will see a small bus
stop and the two blue signs saying 'Venwoude' at your
right.
By car from Amsterdam and Amersfoort
Follow the A1 and take exit 10 to Soest. Follow Soest. After 1.5
kilometers turn right at the traffic lights to Lage Vuursche. At
the next traffic lights, turn left to Lage Vuursche.
Follow the road through the village of Lage Vuursche (several pancake
restaurants). After 1 kilometer you will see a small bus stop and
the two blue signs saying 'Venwoude' at your left.
By Air (Schiphol Amsterdam Airport)
Further by public transport: take a train from Schiphol train station
to Hilversum train station. From there take bus no 59 (see chapter
'Public Transport').
Further by car: drive in direction Amsterdam/Amersfoort until you
reach the A1. Then see chapter 'by car from Amsterdam and Amersfoort'
