Join us as we explore. engage, and uncover the interconnection of sexuality, spirituality, and shadow. By interweaving wisdom from the traditions of Diane Musho Hamilton Sensei and Rabbi Marc Gafni, we will explore why it is critical to integrate sex, spirit, and shadow on the spiritual path.

Through yogic practice, meditative inquiry, and interpersonal intimacy, we will deeply discover and refine how we engage these domains in our personal and professional lives.

Background
Spirituality plays a crucial role in bringing people together beyond religious and political forms of spirituality. The view of the average Westerner that spirituality only has to do with absolute religions is diminishing. We are challenged to develop a new spirituality fitting our post-modern society.

To have spirituality flourish again in the rationalised and science-oriented West, new and modern forms which include and engage rationality and science are needed. Today many people participate in both, in the field of science and in the various spiritual traditions.

The essence stays the same, the relationship with the divine or with the big life questions such as where do I come from, why am I here and who am I? And consequently so does the search for what meaning there is in our daily life. Today, this can't be a search for rules and a final ethic, but rather a search in which people continuously are looking for the right thing in the given situation.

Diane Musho Hamilton Sensei

For many years now, Ken Wilber and Genpo Merzel Roshi have joined together to develop a new vision and practice in the field of spirituality which can inspire and stimulate us all.
Diane Musho Hamilton Sensei knows the work of Ken Wilber and Genpo Merzel Roshi. She is fully transmitted by them both as a teacher, at the Integral Insitute in Denver, Colorado and at the Kanzeon Zen Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She is Genpo Roshi's first successor in the Big Mind tradition, a process designed to bring the insights of Zen meditation to western audiences. She is also professional mediator, group facilitator, and trainer in conflict resolution.

Dr. Marc Gafni
Dr. Marc Gafni is a cutting edge evolutionary visionary, a provocative spiritual artist and teacher, academic, public intellectual, author, social activist, and lover of people. He holds a doctorate, written on Nondual Humanism in Kabbalah taken at Oxford University.
