John de Ruiter travels all over the world on invitation. He speaks from his own experience and his way of life in unconditional surrender and service to what is true. In meetings with John silence reinforces his words. It is knowable only when you no longer let self-oriented emotions, mind and intuition tell you what you are.” John de Ruiter Schedule of the SeminarA total of 10 meetings are scheduled in 5 days time: at 2.00 pm and 7.00 pm.Because those wishing to speak with John de Ruiter may only enter their name at the beginning or during a meeting, all meetings are different, with new approaches and insights. Each meeting begins in silence, during which John de Ruiter, turning his head slowly, makes extended eye contact with each member of his audience in turn. After this, the meeting proceeds according to a model adapted essentially from the Socratic method of enquiry and instruction. This works through an invitation procedure whereby anyone who wishes to ask de Ruiter a question or enter into a dialogue with him may, at any time once the doors of the auditorium are open for the meeting, write their name down on a list and wait to be called. |
John de Ruiter John de Ruiter (son of Dutch emigrants) is a Canadian philosopher and author whose thoughts have
reached and influenced thousands of people. He teaches through public question-and-answer meetings held
at his College in Edmonton, Canada, and in city and university lecture halls in many countries around the world. In his College, regular weekly meetings are held and international seminars organised
