Type of accommodations at Venwoude

Venwoude offers a variety of places to sleep; single and double bedrooms and facilities for campervans and tents. The single and double bedrooms are serenely furnished, the beds are made and there are shared sanitary facilities in the buildings. Each room is provided with a towel per participant.

Online bookings of overnight stays at Venwoude

You can book your accommodation via the booking link, which will become available through the organizer of your retreat/training. The sooner you book, the higher the chance the accommodation you want can be guaranteed. In addition, you can book an early bird rate when you make your reservation at least 14 days before the start.

Cancellation policy accommodation

In the unlikely event that you must cancel your accommodation at Venwoude, the following cancellation conditions apply:

Dietary requirements and policy

The kitchen of Venwoude mainly serves vegetarian and organic meals. If a certain diet has to be followed for medical reasons, this can easily be stated when booking the accommodation online. Our kitchen offers a lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan diet as standard and free of charge; for specific medical diets, the chef will determine whether additional costs are involved.
Venwoude does its utmost to process the diets as well as possible, but we can never rule out cross-contamination and we cannot be held liable for any consequences.

Room layout

You will sleep in a single room or share a double room with another participant of your training/retreat. Who gets to sleep with whom in a 2-person bedroom is in the hands of the retreat organiser. Sometimes this is determined in advance and sometimes on the day of arrival. They pass this info back to Venwoude.

The arrangement is always on the basis of m/m and f/f, unless you pass on your own roommate when booking. In addition, we try to arrange the different groups following a retreat at Venwoude in 1 building or on 1 wing of a building as much as possible. However, it may sometimes happen that a group needs to spend the night in different buildings.

We have a limited number of 1-person rooms at Venwoude, which we often have to divide over several groups attending. It may therefore happen that when you book, only 2-person rooms are available.
